Meet the Team

Dr Usman is one of our most important advisors for Ihya Publications alhamdulillah, having supported us throughout our project. Our key liaison and point of contact, he ensures that we prioritise community benefit and excellence in our work. Dr Usman's day job is as a GP, practicing in this field since 2006 and is a trustee at Cheadle Masjid alhamdulillah.

Imam Abid currently serves as the Director of Education and Assistant Imam of Cheadle Masjid in Manchester and consults with numerous charity organisations include Ihya. Our beloved Imam is also the co-founder of Al Ma-rifah foundation and regularly engages in youth activities and education initiatives. This is only a small part of what Imam Abid gets involved with in the community mashAllah!

Shaykh Salim received his initial Islamic knowledge in his hometown of Damascus, Syria. He went on to study Tajweed with Sheikh Abdul Razzaq Al-Balhwān, before moving to the UK in 1983 and has since acted as an Imam in several mosques in Manchester by leading congregational prayer, giving sermons, and delivering classes of knowledge - with a focus on the Quran and Islamic History.

Fuaad currently serves in the leadership team at Foundations of Legacy, a platform supporting the intellectual and professional development of scholars. He also served as the ISoc President at university, where is completing his degree in Chemical Engineering. A student at Al-Salam Institute, Fuaad teaches for several institutions, including Roots Academy and Muslim Welfare House Sheffield.

I’m a first-year university student studying Business Management, and Head of Finance at Ihya Publications.
