All your armies
All your tanks
All your soldiers
And all your guns
Against a boy holding a stone
Standing there,
All alone…
In his eyes, his glimmering tears,
I see the moon
In his smile, his drooping grin,
I see the sun
But in his heart, true to his country,
I see the light of love
And I wonder, perplexed,
Who is right?
And who is wrong?
Who is weak?
And who is strong?
But does it matter of the choice I make?
For one voice is not enough to wake the world,
And challenge them
Is this what humanity is?
Is this what community is?
How could we kill our own kind?
And I can’t help but wish,
That the truth could have a tongue…
